To meditate is to stop doing, in order to be, in presence. However, those who meditate correctly lose this capacity of presence and go back to being ordinary when they relate to others.
Co-meditation is the remedy for this difficulty: it teaches you to deepen your meditation but, above all, it allows you to discover, in the context of your relationships and your activities, what is presence and full consciousness in loving kindness and in relationship with others. By following a few simple steps (pausing, breathing, relaxing, opening) you learn as well to manage your emotional reactions and to remain upright and serene, welcoming and accepting everything that happens.
To practice co-meditation is to learn to be, here and now, anchored in the self and open to the world, without fears, without expectations, without desires. It is to become free.
